The Easy Trouser

Cotton terry sits dry and firm against the skin — there is a little substance to it, so the leg hangs straight instead of clinging. You put them on and stop thinking about them. That is the whole intention.
100% cotton terry, 340 GSM — the same cloth as The Soft Layer. Brown.
Unisex, straight leg, no ankle cuff. Elastic waist with drawstring, side pockets.
Machine wash, tumble dry low.

These and the cardigan are cut from one cloth. I wear them together most evenings, and that is how they were designed — not as a tracksuit, but as one quiet thing you change into. If you only take one piece, take these.
Choosing between the two trousers
Same cut, same price, same size chart. Terry is heavier — 340 GSM, drier and firmer in the hand, in brown, fully cotton. Brushed fleece is lighter at 270 GSM, softer against the skin, in off-white, with 10% polyester so the brushing holds. Choose by touch, not by specification.
Fit
Straight leg, plain waist — they read as trousers, not as sleepwear. The leg is cut to one length across all sizes — the grade is in the waist, thigh and rise. Choose by waist and thigh; taller wearers will find them shorter, and vice versa.
